Get ahead, stay on track, and see business differently.
Double-Decker Decisions pairs two foundational business courses in one international learning experience. The program is especially relevant for UK students whose major or minor requires ACC 200 and MKT 300.
Make your schedule work for you
Planning to take ACC 200 and MKT 300 in Fall 2027? You could complete them before returning to campus in August. Considering them for Spring 2027? Ask your academic advisor whether moving them to summer would create flexibility in your spring schedule.
Discover how the courses connect
Accounting helps businesses measure costs, financial performance, and results. Marketing helps them understand customers and communicate value. London gives students a chance to see how those perspectives inform real decisions.
How the learning experience works
Before London: Complete asynchronous foundational coursework to build the knowledge you’ll use abroad.
In London: Learn through faculty-led discussions, business visits, integrated projects, cultural activities, and opportunities to explore the city.
Before fall semester: Finish your summer program requirements and return to campus with an international business experience to draw on.
Courses: ACC 200 (3 credits), MKT 300 (3 credits), and EAP 599: Global Learning Experience (1 credit). Students take ACC 200 and MKT 300 together. Confirm how each course applies to your degree plan with your academic advisor.
London becomes your classroom.
Rather than just reading about financial decisions, marketing strategies, and consumer behavior, students observe business in action. The following are examples of experiences being considered for 2027.
London’s financial district
Explore the history and role of financial institutions, including a proposed visit to the Bank of England Museum.
Silicon Roundabout and regeneration
See how entrepreneurship and redevelopment shape business models, customer demand, and neighborhood identities.
Oxford and the MINI plant
Examine the relationship between manufacturing, operational decisions, brand positioning, and customers.
The West End and London’s heritage
Consider the economics of theatre, visitor experiences, and iconic sites such as the Tower of London.
There’s time to explore, too.
Beyond scheduled activities, students can experience London’s neighborhoods, museums, shops, food, theatre, and historic landmarks. A faculty-directed format offers a shared academic experience alongside opportunities for independent discovery.
Itinerary note: These examples are based on current planning and prior program experiences. Specific visits, speakers, and schedules may change.

Real experiences. Real connections.
Hear directly from students who participated in Double-Decker Decisions in summer 2026, in their own words.
“Visiting the regenerated areas really helped me connect accounting and marketing concepts to the real world.”
“When we visited the Mini Cooper Plant we saw the development of the cars they produce and some of the marketing decisions they were using.”
“It actually helped a lot because we talked about different concepts in class and it was easier to understand since we took part of the asynchronous class before hand.”
“I was able to network with many people and build relationships with my peers who I call my best friends who we all still talk to this day!”
